If you are looking to return a faulty or incorrect item, please contact our Team so we can resolve it for you as soon as we can. Contact us via e-mail or telephone for clearance. A member of staff will give you their name for authorisation. Once a return has been agreed, you should send the goods with an accompanying letter explaining the reason for the return, and a copy of the receipt to the following address: Returns Dept, R-Tec Warehouse, Lyon Way, Hatfield Road, St Albans, Herts, AL4 0QU.
Items from our warehouse stock may be returned or exchanged within 14 days. We will refund monies for any product ordered in error as long as it is returned to us at your expense and it is received in the same 'New' condition that it left us in. The cost for delivery to you will not be refunded this will be deducted from your refund at the exact cost to us. Subject to our discretion, we may refund the cost of the product minus a handling charge, which can be up to 15%.
If you would like to return anything, get in touch with our Customer Care team. Refunds can only be given if products are returned in their original packaging and in 'as new' condition.
If you wish to return a product for exchange, then we reserve the right to deduct our initial shipping fee. (The handling charge is to offset the costs incurred by us in processing credit cards and packaging and shipping your order as requested).
We never delay refunds - They are normally actioned the same day but may take up to 3 working days for the bank to process.
We can only accept returns for products which are undamaged, and the packaging is in a re-saleable condition. The following Goods may not be returned to us for credit:
Please note we are unable to accept returns on wheels which have been damaged, kerbed or washed with acid-based cleaning products. We reserve to right to PH test wheels and inspect wheels for damage before any refund or warranty replacement.
Once a special non-stock order has been processed (usually 24 hours) the cancellation of non-stock parts cannot be accepted. A majority of the parts we sell are special orders and cannot be cancelled once the order has been accepted as we often order them in and by the nature of a special order generally means that it is an item that we do not stock due to its popularity and therefore will be difficult to re-sell. A majority of our parts are car make and model specific. This may also mean the part is being made, put together or machined for your application.
You may cancel your order with us anytime up to 14 days after the day of delivery and any payment made will be refunded, providing the goods have been ordered from stock (does not apply to bespoke special orders). You may occur a handling charge or restocking fee.
Send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number, name, and address to cancel. Upon receipt of stock item goods, you may return them, at your own cost, as mentioned within 14 working days. Products must be unused and in the original packaging. Providing these conditions are met we will refund the cost of the received goods only (possibly less a handling charge.
Refunds are made via the same method used for the original payment. This means that the cost of delivery cannot and will not be refunded. We can arrange collection on your behalf, but the costs involved with doing so will be deducted from your refund. Please Note: These conditions do not apply for the return of faulty/damaged goods.

Please note, wheels are non-returnable if tyres have been fitted and mounted to a vehicle, subject to a Manager's discretion if the vehicle has not left the workshop. If the vehicle has driven outside of R-Tec Auto Design's premesis, a return for any reason other than the product being defective will not be permitted.
You must take responsibility for checking over the goods and unpacking whilst the delivery driver waits if necessary. In the unlikely event that the goods received are faulty or damaged, you must sign for the goods as damaged. If you sign to say that they are received in good condition we must assume that they were in good condition when delivered or you have confirmed acceptance of the goods in this damaged condition and we will not be able to rectify any fault how so ever caused or make any payments of compensation.
If goods are delivered incomplete, have been damaged in transit or are faulty, RTECSHOP reserves the right to replace the product. Any damages or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
All products are checked before dispatch. Any products that arrive damaged or broken must be returned in full (including all broken pieces) otherwise no credit or replacement will be given. If the goods have been damaged in transit and are faulty, we reserve the right to replace the product.
Please note that you will be responsible for return carriage charges.
Replacement products will not be sent out until the faulty items are returned in full. If a product is required urgently, we may suggest the purchase of another unit until the faulty items are received. The faulty item will then be credited upon receipt.
If, in the rare occasion RTECSHOP has supplied a different product to what you ordered, our team will sort out any issues with incorrect parts supplied straight away.
Please contact our Customer Care team with your order details to hand. We'll ensure you get a replacement part as quickly as we can.
If the correct products are not available we will reimburse the full purchase price if within 14 days. R-Tec Auto Design is not responsible for any labour charges incurred during the fitment, or removal of suspected incorrect ordered or supplied parts.
We strongly recommend that you check received parts before installation to make sure the parts are correct before you book in or install them. If you are purchasing alloy wheels, you should test-fit at least one front and one rear on the hub, before installing tyres, to ensure compatibility and brake clearance.

We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the item/items to us. We recommend sending the package by Recorded/Special Delivery.
All items for sale on this website are covered by a manufacturer's warranted or our own guarantee. Every item unless stated is covered for at least 6 months unlimited mileage (from the date of invoice) – some items are longer. Guarantees and warranties cover manufacturing defects and not misuse or abuse.
Goods returned under warranty must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase and will be dealt with as a matter of priority with the manufacturer, for quality control purposes and to establish whether the cause is a genuine manufacturing fault.
R-Tec Auto Design is not responsible for any carriage charges or labour charges incurred during the fitment, or removal of suspected faulty, incorrectly ordered or supplied parts. All warranty claims are classed as return to base warranty.
Painted alloy wheels have a 6-month warranty, unless otherwise stated. This is only valid if they have been cleaned regularly, have not been kerbed and have no stone chips etc that have broken the lacquer.
We suggest commercial wheel cleaners are not used on Alloy or Chrome wheels. Wheel manufacturers are so adamant about the potential damage from wheel cleaners that the use of these will void the manufacturers warranty. Never pressure wash alloy wheels as this can badly affect the paint and will also void the warranty. We would recommend washing alloy wheels at least twice a week with normal car wash solution.
Chrome wheels have no warranty owing to UK adverse weather conditions and suggest during the winter chrome wheels should be removed to avoid deterioration.
Alloy wheels, especially polished or non-metallic plated wheels require special cleaning.
